T24-ACM Wireless Sensor / Transducer Transmitter 2.4 GHz

Load Cell Systems T24-ACM wireless sensor transmitter is designed for load cells, (mV/V output) pressure transducers, and various other sensors with an analog output. It’s easy to create a wireless load cell system or transmit analog signals to other T24 receivers. The T24-ACM is enclosed in a rugged industrial enclosure, powered from two D-cell batteries allowing up to 5 years between battery changes.

A recent customer has many 10 ton rated bridge cranes each with two hoists also rated at 10 tons each. The operators at this facility are known to frequentely overload the bridge being that they have no means to know the actual weight of the loads. Load Cell Systems was contacted to come up with a solution.
The hoists were retro-fitted with custom load cell pins on the equalizer sheaves. They did not want cables (easily damaged in this application) so we went wireless using the T24 product line. Each load cell was connected to the T24-ACM-SA wireless load cell transmitter. A T24-RM1 relay output module receives the signal from the transmitter then sums the two load cell readings to disconnect the uplift circuit when the weight exceeds the setpoint value. A T24-SO serial output module converts the readings from the T24-ACM wireless load cell transmitters and converts it to RS232 which is then fed into a RD-100 remote display for the crane operator to view.
